Help With Scarlet Clicks Account Management

Some of my group members recently started using Scarlet Clicks after seeing my results with PTC sites….. but have gone a little off track and need help. Today I am going to show you how to fix this account, but also more than that. If you need extra help with Scarlet Clicks earning just let me know on this post and I will guide you forward.

Current Snapshot of Account

To manage your Scarlet Clix account the first thing you need to do is take a current snapshot of your account. For example the account I am helping to manage today looks like this:

  • 196 rented referrals
  • 69 extended to 21 days
  • 102 extended for 28 days
  • 25 extended for 36 days
  • Earning approx. 98 cents a day
  • $1.49 balance
  • $5 membership is due in 19 days

Create Split Extending Cycle

The next step to take is to create a split cycle for extending. This means dividing your rented referrals into at least 2 distinct groups. You need to have a current extending cycle and a pinned for later cycle.

In todays example I will allocate the 69 rented referrals which have 21 days left on rental time as the current cycle. The remaining 127 are then in the pinned for later cycle.

If there is no obvious break in the extending list then you can create one by looking for a place on the list where there are a small number of rented referrals on that number of days left. Extend those ones by 15 days to move them into the pinned for later cycle. All under that are left in the current cycle. I usually look for an under 30 days and over 30 days level.

Calculate the Total Cost

The next step is to calculate how much it will cost to extend the number of rented referrals in the current extending cycle by 15 days. This is the minimum cost and tells you how much you need to have available.

In our example 69 rented referrals will cost a total of $5.18 (69*$0.075)

Check Number of Days Available

Next you need to look at the number of days you have available to work on extending the current cycle. In our example today these rented referrals have all got 21 days left on their rental time. If the rental times vary then look at the most time you have left for working on this group of referrals.

Calculate the Number of Extensions Required Daily

When you know how many rented referrals you are working on in the current extending cycle and the number of days available you can work out how many to extend daily.

In our example it is 69/21 = 3.28 (round up to 4 per day need extending to make sure you get them all done on time).

Calculate Daily Cost

When you know the number of rented referrals you need to extend each day you can work out the cost:

4 per day = $0.075*4 = $0.30 per day.

Use Remainder for Longer Extending and Membership Fee

Now you know you need to allocate X amount per day of your earnings to extending by 15 days, and can work out what is left over. In our example it is $0.98 – $0.30 = $0.68 per day of earnings is available.

$5 membership is due in 19 days, so that means $12.92 of available cash will be earned in that time. There is also a balance of $1.49 in the account already.

Setting aside $5 for the membership fee leaves $9.41 which can be used for longer extending. Doing this reduces the costs and moves the account forward.

Create the Plan

Now you can work out exactly what you need to do to move the account forward. In our example the plan would be:

  • Extend 4 per day by 15 days
  • Save $5 in account balance and pay for membership in advance
  • Start to extend some RR’s by at least 90 or 150 days – these will become the new pinned for later cycle.
  • After you work through the current extending you start again with the next group of rented referrals.

Another Example

Just to show how you can work through a completely different example using the same process outlined above, lets look at another account. This time the account snapshot looks like this:

  • 200 RR’s
  • only 10 are extended for 30 days
  • 90 will expire in 6 days
  • 100 will expire in 20 days
  • balance of $13
  • silver monthly membership is due in 6 days

Create Split Cycle

This time I suggest the split cycle is put in place with the 90 RR’s about to expire as the current earning cycle. All 90 RR’s should be extended by 15 days = $6.75

This will effectively put 190 RR’s into the new extending cycle as they will have 20 – 21 days left.

Pay monthly membership with remaining funds from the balance. This will leave $1.25 in the account balance.

Now there are 20 days worth of earning to extend 190 RR’s

Calculate the Total Cost

To extend 190 RR’s by 15 days the cost is $14.25

Check Number of Days Available

There will be 20 days available

Calculate the Number of Extensions Required Daily

190 extensions over 20 days means a minimum of 10 need extended each day.

Calculate Daily Cost

10 extensions per day by 15 days = $0.75

Use Remainder for Longer Extending

I am guessing the daily earnings with 200 RR’s on Scarlet is paying at least $1.20 which gives $0.45 daily which can be used for longer extending.

Create the Plan

The plan then is:

  • Extend 10 per day by 15 days
  • Start to extend some RR’s by at least 90 or 150 days – these will become the new pinned for later cycle.
  • After you work through the current extending you start again with the next group of rented referrals.
