There are many ways to earn cash on Hungry for Hits, but how much can you really earn?
I thought I would do an experiment to show how much I earn today just from doing the surfing…..
I personally surf at least 150 pages on Hungry for Hits on a daily basis, so this was my first measure point. After surfing 150 pages this morning I had earned $0.07 in commission and $0.02 in Piggy Bank cash.
My main motivation for earning cash and wanting to know how much I can earn through surfing is so I can plan how often I can book in advertising on site. I would like to focus on the reserve page views this month – particularly the shown in surf every 29 pages option. This costs $1.50….. so I am looking at 1 purchase roughly every 15 – 16 days at this rate.
When I reached 500 pages surfed I had earned $0.13 in commission and $0.05 in the Piggy Bank. I also missed catching some flying food which would have earned me another $0.04.
At 1000 pages surfed I had earned $0.19 in commission and $0.09 in the Piggy Bank.
At 2000 pages surfed I had earned $0.31 in commission and $0.18 in the Piggy Bank. After moving the $0.30 from commission into Piggy Bank I had a total of $0.55. I also missed $0.10 worth of claims, so its good to know my earning would have been $0.65.
It did take several hours of surfing to earn that cash, but I did add a LOT of ad credits to my account. It is certainly not the fastest way to earn cash, and to be frank there are much faster ways…… HOWEVER my purpose is to use the cash to purchase the reserve page views. THAT is where the value of this experiment lies. Turning those page views into a few subscribers who go on to become buyers has the potential to earn me a lot more long term.
This experiment then has a follow up required. Will the reserve page views ads convert into subscribers?
